In the summer of 2009 all out-patient work within the city of Glasgow moved to 2 new, purpose-built ambulatory care hospitals (the new Stobhill and Victoria hospitals). Satellite clinics for surrounding areas are run in Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Paisley Royal Alexandria Hospital, Vale of Leven Hospital and the new Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Haemodialysis takes place at 6 satellite centres, 3 in the city and 3 further a field. In addition, 10 stations for out-patient, in-centre, haemodialysis and the peritoneal dialysis unit are based at the qeuh �hub�. There is an active home haemodialysis service based at Stobhill hospital.
